Pantone 2023 : Découvrez la Signification de Viva Magenta et son Impact en Décoration et Design

Chaque année, Pantone choisit « la couleur de l'année », mais qu'est-ce que cela signifie?

Pantone est une société américaine qui en 1866 créait des nuanciers pour les fabricants de cosmétiques. En 1963 Pantone a changé le jeux, son fondateur Lawrence Herbet a introduit le “Pantone Matching System” avec un système de communication des couleurs de 500 couleurs. Il a pu créer un système de correspondance qui attribuerait un numéro de série à une couleur ou une nuance spécifique. Aujourd'hui, Pantone est un système de colorimétrie qui nous permet de trouver des nuances de couleurs très précises et de trouver facilement n'importe quelle couleur que nous voulons.

Pour 2023, Pantone a choisi le 18-1750 Viva Magenta comme couleur de l'année. L'entreprise et son équipe passent par un processus d'analyse des tendances basé sur l'analyse du cinéma, de la mode, du marketing, de la culture entre autres. Selon Pantone, Viva Magenta représente la force "c'est un nouveau rouge animé qui se délecte de joie pure, encourageant l'expérimentation et l'expression de soi sans retenue, une teinte électrisante et sans frontières qui se manifeste comme une déclaration remarquable".

Pour la planche mobilier, j’ai imaginé une femme indépendante et qui sait ce qu’elle veut dans sa vie personnelle et professionnelle. Cette femme représente beaucoup de force dans tout ce qu’elle se propose pour atteindre ses objectifs.

Every year, Pantone chooses “the color of the year” but what does that mean and who is Pantone?

Pantone is an American society that in 1866 used to create color charts for the cosmetic fabricants. Then in 1963, Pantone changed the game, its founder Lawrence Herbet introduced the “Pantone Matching System” with a color communicating system of 500 colors. He was able to create a matching system that would assign a serial number to a specific color or shade. Today, Pantone is a system of colorimetry that allows us to find very precise color shades and to find easily any color that we want.

For 2023, Pantone chose 18-1750 Viva Magenta as the color of the year. The company and its team go through a process of trend analysis based on film, fashion, marketing, and cultural analysis among others. According to Pantone, Viva Magenta represents strength “it is a new animated red that revels in pure joy, encouraging experimentation and self-expression without restraint, an electrifying, and a boundaryless shade that is manifesting as a stand-out statement.”

For this design board, I imagined a powerful and independent woman that knows what she wants and that goes after her dreams and objectives in her personal and professional life.
